I just replaced my terrova shaft and lower unit. I smoked a stump in the violet canal trolling for bass. Sounded like the Crack of a rifle it was so loud. It was my fault so I never even thought to call them. I want to say it was $540ish with a prop shipped to the house. Took about 20 mins.

I was one of the six. Caught 5 by 830 before moving on. Alot different then my Monday trip there and more crowded for sure. I talked to the kayak guy at campos when we were picking up. Said it takes him an hour to get there. He only caught 2 there. I feel like if the tide is right its a good place to start the morning off. If they there its crazy how fast you can catch.

I have 2 120ah redodo lithium batteries that are Bluetooth. This is a screenshot from after 2 trips using it in heavy current to spot lock. Still have 85ah out of 120ah i started with. Can make 2 more trips before I need to charge. But having the ability to check how many amp hours are left is awesome.

I think i like everyone’s reports the most on lafbelite. The course are great! But real time data and not a fb page with trolls is so refreshing.

My Pond Prowler was completely fine until my 16-year-old decided to drag it behind the four-wheeler through the woods and ripped a hole in the bottom on a root. Naturally, he didn’t mention it. I loaded up all my gear and set off, only to realize 20 yards out that water was halfway up my Xtratufs. I barely scrambled back to shore before sinking.

But my mind was set on fishing. I spotted a flat-back pirogue sitting by the side of the house—left behind by one of his friends—and jumped in. At 6’1″ and 280 lbs, freeboard was practically non-existent, but I clamped a little trolling motor on the back and made the best of it anyway

Douluts was producing well recently, but almost all that action was on a ripping falling tide. Looking at the charts, the tide turns around 7:00 AM Friday, so getting there early means you’d be hitting slack water or just the very start of the shift. In my “very little” experience, it’s pretty hit-or-miss there unless the tide is moving hard on the fall. If you do go, there’s a hole right before the turn heading into the lake that’s worth a quick drift—I’ve picked up a few fish there on the way home across different tides using live or dead bait, mostly just as a last-ditch effort when I wasn’t ready to call it a day yet.

Picked up 6 sheepshead on the rocks left of St Malo entrance. I think you have it as FTL, Monday morning but that was with shrimp. Also 4′ under a cork. Makes no sense to me cause you can pretty much see them on top the water but I could not get a bite at 18″-24″ Good luck out there. Hope this helps.

Man thats awesome. I have not gotten one bite on top water the last couple trips. Douluts can be very productive at times.

Had to call it a early morning. My daughter called saying her car was shaking on the way to school, so she pulled over and caught a ride. I grabbed the car trailer to pick it up when my son called—his truck overheated and the radiator was leaking. You can’t make this up, both of them breaking down on the same day. I dropped her car off to a shop and took his to my buddy who is a mechanic. Her car just needed an ignition coil, which was an easy fix, but I’m still waiting to hear about his.

Fished malo yesterday. 2 cats and 2 small throwbacks. Places i limited last year. Did catch a couple hundred yards in the main entrance of malo from the lake but there was a break in the land and looked like a million gallons was pouring out into the main channel. You can see the break in the back ground and this is what the trout were eatting on. I snagged it on accident.

My bad. They fished Milo and Delutes. I fished robin and Coquille. One guy who never fishes and just got a boat. (Trying to talk him into the courses) caught 9 and got a late start. The other 2 guys in another boat is the ones who caught a 2 man. I caught one keeper in Coquille robin area.
