Man this one looks a little tougher than the other one, but still looks doable. Might be another “idle it” situation. Good thing is, the river is predicted to come up to ~3.8′ next week, so that might help. If you’re out there next Thursday or Friday we might see each other. I haven’t decided on the day yet but early Thursday 12/4 seems to be the better option at the moment, condition wise.

I’ve never ran that route before but looking at GED it doesn’t look like you’ll have any issues running it, however, we are talking about Venice. Personally I’d feel pretty confident taking it but definitely with extreme caution, possibly even idling it.

After my 10/28/25 Venice trip I haven’t wanted to fish anywhere else, lol. Now reading your report Venice is the only place I want to be.
Sucks y’all ran aground, but I’m glad y’all were able to get unstuck safely and continue to fish.

Yeah, fishing with a bait caster is a game changer for sure. Glad you were able to get all that practice in catching a ton of fish!
You had a solid plan, there was no doubt you were eventually going to get on something in which you did! Glad you were able to execute it without any issues.
