Ouch! Man, I was very optimistic about your trip. I thought for sure you where going to crush them. As mentioned already, you’ll have your day. Great report, thank you for still posting it!

These trips are always a bummer at first, but you not giving up and getting on them on the last-ditch effort had to have been the best feeling in the world. Great job and report. Thank you!

Now that’s how you make the best out of a crappy situation. Drinking High Life and living the high life, love it! Thank you for sharing this gem.

Apologies this is so late but, I’ve caught Redfish targeting trout in O3, O1, and Skip. O3 & O1 get shallow so be carful if you make it in there. I caught them with I believe at the time, was a Four Horsemen Boom Boom shrimp under a cork, so artificial. You can drift Skip or beat the banks up. These spots are all down Oak River. Good luck!

Nice! HDS for the win! I had good success in Lake B the other day fishing with a drop shot also, but with sparkle beetle instead. Great report, thank you.

Bummer man. Getting skunked is never fun, but like you said, you got to explore new areas and that’s a plus. Great report, thank you for still posting one!

Well, on the bright side you didn’t get skunked. Great report, thank you for still posting one even though it was a tough trip. Good luck with plan Redfish tomorrow!

Oh I’ve seen it! I’m not afraid to go scoop a few of them up either, especially if its mine. I’ll get out the boat to go get mine if I have too, haha.

Dude, hilarious! Similar to your story, after he posted his rant he posted his Lake Borgne planning trip which, if you saw mine (I didn’t post a planning trip post, just a report) and then looked at his, it was pretty much the SAME THING, expect for a few more spots on mine. To make it worse, he was going on the same day as I planned on going, lol! Instead of letting my anxiety of people thinking I cheated and just copied off of his plan (which I’ve actually had my plan since last year) get the best of me I just chalked it up to “I must be doing something right” and that Inshore 101 has taught me well.
