That’s a fine setup you got there, we passed earlier in the MRGO.

That is awesome it should only get better from here on. Harrison and I are going down in the morning and will be hunting them slicks that smell like fresh cut grass.

I would still go. Understanding that there will be less than a foot of tide and winds from 4mph early to 10mph later in the day. You will have some water movement plus with the lighter wind this will make finding the bait easier. I would focus on points, choke points between the bays, channels where the water is usually ripping, and underwater structure(hint the long gap toward the end of the long rocks). Downsize your jigheads to 1/4oz or (1/8oz if you are throwing a spinning rod). If the bait is popping at the top of the water fish the top of the water column. Make your cast give a 1 or 2 count and start swimming your lure or I prefer to pop it a couple times and let it fall for a second then pop it again and it usually gets eaten. I hope this helps you.

Also the fish that are moving back in after the spawn are hungry and they aren’t going to let a neap tide starve them.

The water in the Spoil Canal was good and in the grass on the banks.
