I like your plan and along with the conditions you should crush the trout. My next trip I’m going explore further south around those islands. I’m looking forward to your fishing report.

Glad you got on them Mr Bubba.

Hey it was nice to meet you today and I’m glad to see your son with you. You all are going to make a lot of good memories together. As far as legendary fisherman that has to be a joke! I just figured out how to fish a tide line yesterday. Lol

I will definitely add Third Bay and Wrecked Bay to my plan. I seen all the floating hyacinth Saturday and my graph show bait, but I assumed it was submerged vegetation and didn’t try it. Adema Pond was kind to me I caught 14 fish with 9 keepers. I believe I could have stayed and gotten a limit there, but I chose to go explore Lake John being I was running out if time.

No I haven’t used this tool yet. I opened it and added it to my laptop. Pretty impressive and I will definitely be using this. Thanks for sharing.

It was heartbreaking. She hit so hard she liked to have taken the pole out my hand. Then she took off towards the canal, I was thinking redfish until the head shakes came. I was like oh yeah big girl! Got her to the boat then grabbed the line under cork then line popped. She laid there for a second long enough for me to grab her tail, then she came alive and I couldn’t hold on. I was like damn what a dumb move.

No I just wanted to introduce myself, he was doing pretty good own his own.

Yes I was graphing and showed bait and tons of fish on bottom. Considering going back tomorrow.

Mullet. I didn’t see hardly any birds all day.

I have always fished the rip offshore but never have I thought about it inshore (an ah ha moment). Thanks for this tip.
I was running down and side scan. I was glancing at it but was more focused visually learning the area and looking for bait.

Mad props!! Especially to do this while being stoved up in the back. Excellent report and this gives me the motivation to go back down there.

I made one trip in November after a cold front, it was really windy and the was water dirty. I need to plan another trip in that area. Friday when I pulled up to Sweetwater Marina there was a local that was cleaning fish and he asked me if I found the fish. I told I had caught redfish but no trout. He told me they caught a 3 man limit of trout over in Lake Ameda.
