I ran this route Saturday and had no issues. Heading north I stayed on the left side of the twin pipe lines.

Nice report and trip. That doesn’t look like the first trout that young fellow has taken a picture with. Good stuff.

On the north side of the bay in D’Iberville they have a public boat launch under I110 and it is very nice. A short paddle away you have Goat Island, Little Island, and Big Island that holds redfish, flounder, and occasionally trout. My son lives in Biloxi and we fish there on occasion. My profile picture was taken there.

Frank thanks for tips and advice. I didn’t spend alot of time fishing being I was more interested in getting safe routes. I was a lil nervous just knowing the area was shallow and lots under water obstacles. I took my time and got some good routes also seen a lot of interesting areas I would like to fish. The wind was really calm and the water was slick, to my surprise I didn’t see much bait activity. Birds would dive but just all over the place. I did notice lots of dolphins and have always heard they are there to feed mainly on trout. I am definitely eager go back. Thanks again.

It was small around 8 or 9 inches, but flounder is my absolute favorite. I have a few in the freezer. I don’t fry fish very often I prefer pan seared or broiled.

Yes and it was nice! These two guys fish with me regularly and know all about the grind. We have came up on the short end many times.

Thanks, it definitely was a grind. I told the guys we got to find bait and to be looking and listening. We moved aggressively and it took half a day to locate bait, but when we did it was on. It was very satisfying.
