I think you will still get the charge this route, if you go down Westbank express and cross using Peter’s or Destrehan to lapalco and take a left. Going to LA 23 your past the bridge with no toll. I just got my bill in the mail yesterday.

if you check out Treasure Bay, also check out Bayou Petre, it might not be good right now, but eventually there will be tons of birds and fish there, the current is insane sometimes, but worth trying. Last year mid October I got a baby sitter and took my wife fishing, we started in Half moon caught a bunch of keepers, went to blind lagoon, drum hole and stump lagoon and was catching trout all day long, it was insane best trip I had all last year.

I was catching trout in Eloi last month but a lot of smaller ones, your routes don’t look bad. there is some fish to be caught just got to move around and find them. Good Luck, if you don’t get in any, it doesn’t hurt to cross over and fish St Malo for some redfish.

Hi, look at the tide chart for Bayou Bonfouca for when your fishing the north end of the HWY11 bridge or train trestle it’s a lot closer than the tchefuncte. That should help when you’re planning a trip to fish bridges it’s usually close within 30 minutes of being right. And if your fishing spots in Pearl river, Lake Catherine or ICW I use the rigolets tide chart. And they usually are 3-4 hours different than each other. Hope this helps.

Water was pretty green down river and I couldn’t find a bass.

I hopped on a boat once that did 28/28. A guy told me he could never go back to working a 9-5 job. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around that.

when going up bayou la loutre to bakers canal, its like a 4 way! St. Malo is the bayou to the left going back toward Lake Borgne.

Definitely can catch reds I caught several off octave pass last week, didn’t try for trout because didn’t put in water until 8:30am

The river looked nice and green. I caught majority of the fish in octave pass not far from main river.
