I love Catherine, sightfishing reds, and love my tracker so this report hits all my senses at the same time. Thanks for posting!

Great report, now that you’re in the blackfish club I feel like I should let you know the first rule:
If you catch a blackfish, NO TF YOU DIDN’T!
OR
You caught it in Venice.

Ok cool.
So we fished that rig last month and it was a similar distribution of boats. The boat that was in that corner could not buy a bite and meanwhile the guide boat and us were slinging fish into the boat.
The only thing I don’t like about that corner is the number of snags but that comes with the territory.
We found they hold a good bit off the rig. Like 200 ft. To the west and south and when the bite dies you can cast back towards the rig and find them again and then they bounce back and forth.
You probably did great, thats just been my experience fishing that particular one.

Navy blue boat on the corner of the rig next to the guide boat?

If I were you I’d hit the chair rigs just south of Rigolets pass first thing (like 530 AM) or make the run out to Oyster Bay and fish the rigs or work the birds out there or head to the southeast first thing and fish those rigs (>9.5 ft deep). HDS was key.
That being said, TOTS @Boyce got a late start and I think was able to grind out a limit. But his boat also looks like a delicious topwater and he rolls up blaring Kelis’s 2003 hit Milkshake.
