I like take a huge crank of my vape, turn my flatbill sideways and crank my bluetooth speaker to full max, blast a banger, take the cowling off the motor to let her sing, and LED spotlight blind everyone at the launch and on the water. That being said, typically I don’t run into duck ponds unless I’m stalking reds, and you need good sunlight imho to do that.

NGL, I’m kinda glad more of those gen-z kids aren’t into fishing. I couldn’t deal with the pump 7 naseau, squatted trucks pulling mud boats, flat bills, sitka, and spot jocking. Hunting has changed a ton since I was their age. Seems to be dominated by dbags now.

AND THAT MEANS A COUPLE THINGS:

Man eff these hammer trout, actually landing cliffhall is the ultimate game I’m learning. Yeah, checkout Saturday at 10AM. Your plan works too, which is what we just did. I haven’t priced the 2nd place yet but I’m sure I could find one for around the same rate or less, which imho wouldn’t matter since we’ll be at the Pearl or fishing most of the time and so really its just somewhere to sleep. If you’re cool with throwing in both nights I’ll mark you down and start looking. If someone comes along and can stay Thursday but not Friday then yall could split the slot.
