Ok thank you for the help but if you don’t mind me asking what would be the difference between a 6’8” and a 7’ when it comes to jigging does it affect the action that much?

I’ve bass fished my whole life did high school tournaments and things like that and never had much luck at grand isle speck fishing until me and my friends went to lake borgne last weekend and did pretty good I should’ve been close to a limit if I didn’t keep ripping the hooks out of their mouths s I got a 6’10” medium I think moderate fast for my jerk bait 2 6’6” medium fast for jigging a matrix one has 1/8 the other has 1/4 oz on em one rod with a popping cork and the rod I just bought is a 7” medium fast action st croix mojo inshore rod and was planning on jigging some voodoo shrimp with it is that a good rod to do so?
