Nice report. I learned the hard way too about using a 1/4 oz jig, but what’s tough is when the current is strong and you need something heavier to get down. I use the 1/8 whenever possible but if I have to go to the 1/4 I just don’t let it get to the bottom when I can help it

Good job, getting them kids hooked on the right stuff!

Great day, awesome report. Glad to see the topwater was getting hits, I still haven’t had much luck with mine yet but I’ll keep trying.

Thanks for the report. Last time I went out the week before last I know we were on fish but they weren’t biting. I don’t why they’re finiky now

I’m down this weekend, boat’s in the shop. Not too concerned, it seems like we’re still a few weeks away before it turns on. Looking forward to hearing the reports

Thanks, my thoughts exactly. I’m getting out there at highest wind of the day 14 mph

Thanks!

Yep, I’ve hit that spot before and done well. When there’s hardly any water moving you can usually find some running in that canal where it dead ends and leads into Lost Lake. I’ve haven’t took at the tide yet.
Thanks for the tip. I think I’m better hunting reds tomorrow than trying to run down trout that late. I’ll do that on the weekend

Thanks nice report. Always happy when I come home with dinner.

I’m glad you mentioned that abut Vegas, because I used some gas that I had in a couple of my containers that I had sitting for a while, and I assumed they were the non-ethanol, but they could have been from the last hurricane evacuation. I’m going to check all that out. I had a video and sent it to my mechanic and he said that it looks like more than spark plugs. I’m going to check that water separator.
Thanks
