I was going to just bolt some to the side of my center console but instead I got these things called Robocup. It’s a cupholder / rod holder and it clamps onto the leaning post. My friends have been bitching about me not having enough cupholders so it was perfect.

I really hope I don’t lose my GED stuff over time. I have so much stuff on mine that if I opened them all at once, my computer slows down.

I was actually wondering the same thing about the fishing closer to the launch. Will the storm push in fish and saltier water that may hold them there? I’m considering hitting the lake borgne rigs this weekend.

Love catching trout but one of my favorite days ever we just caught 40″ bulls every cast, all day. Sounds like a fun day to me.

What do you need done to your boat? I’m a fabricator/ welder located in Mandeville.

I do not have a yeti but the Robocup was perfect since it added 4 rod holders and 4 cup holders.
-
Same. I just added 4 more rod holders to the boat because the 6 on the center console just isn’t enough unless I’m by myself. I also really hate tying on different lures.

Had an old welder tell me to scrape the barnacles off the pilings and fish that and you’ll kill them.

lol very true. For a second I was even thinking a little less about @WestbankJosh for letting his boy fish with gear like that lol. There’s a reason I have so many extra poles rigged up because I don’t let my friends bring their gear on my boat unless I approve it. I’ve had a few bad experiences with friends’ gear and had to spend more time fixing their stuff than fishing.
-
I actually talked to the guy in his YouTube comments and he said he left all his poles at a friends house and was borrowing his other friends gear. I figured there had to be a decent reason.
-
LOL no way. I’m about to check all my friends gear now lol. Funny enough he crushes it in the video

I do have side scan. Maybe I can scan the pilings.
-
I think I’ll do that and a slip cork for whoever I’m fishing with.

I’m in Mandeville so I think I’ll hit the rocks along the shore by Slidell this weekend. I’ll make a report. Not enough people target them and I think they’re much better than specs.

Yeah the none-fun work. I just redid the all wiring on my boat when I got my new trolling motor. Had to buy a damn $80 crimper from Harbor Freight to put lugs on 4 gauge wire. I’ve seen the work you’ve done on Gnartooth so I’m assuming you’ve got it all covered but I have a shop at the house if you need help.
