Great report! I’m learning Venice slowly, it’s so big. The down shot picture, is that where the Mississippi River flows out? How deep was the trough? This may help me.

That’s crazy wild. I ran SW Pass up river one time in a 35 ft contender with a south wind. It was freakin crazy to say the least. MRGO with a south wind has nothing on this and MRGO will beat you up and spit you out. I know first hand. Glad y’all made it back safe and with snapper!

I’m not sure what it’s called Devin. I know there was discussion earlier about a metal object your budddy hit in the NE corner of the entrance into Lake Lery.

I caught fish last Friday between 10 and 11 drifting under a popping cork and a marker 54 shrimp.

I wish I was going down because I sure would HYU. What is the best area to fish for snapper in that area? I went last week and we fished the WD block, caught plenty of snapper just couldn’t catch any over 15 inches it was very frustrating. I’m thinking maybe closer to SW pass on the east side and the rigs straight out from SP. I’m at a loss.
