Thank you! I took your advice and got the Active Captain downloaded on phone, and I connected it to my Garmin on boat. I’m sure it will take some experience to get everything out of it, but I do like what I’m looking at.

Thanks. I will put more time into the reefs if you think that will be a better option. I have Garmin Echomap UHD2 74SV. I know the boat salesman uploaded or gave me a sd card with inshore map instead of freshwater; something like that. I just remember him asking me what kind of fishing I do and when I said inshore, he said he would give me that map or whatever. I do see oyster reefs marked on it in the EBM. Thank You again! Definitely glad I joined. I’m enjoying the Fishing 101 course as well.

Thank you! I’m taking the course now. I do have spots that I plan on fishing, just the route part and making sure safe to do so part is my first concern. If you remember me and see any reason I shouldn’t go this weekend, please let me know. I’m sure I will get to launch first thing in am and usually fish all day. Not sure if there is a time I need to be back by. I was told usually slick in am; which I have been in Borgne several times from Hopedale side and it was usually calm in am. Never really had any troubles in Borgne besides getting in a bad storm one time.
