Josh doesn’t worry about the conditions, the conditions worry about Josh.

Josh once caught a limit of trout before even launching the boat.

Josh can out fish Chuck Norris any day of week.

Awesome trip and great report, thank you!

The owners of Foggy Water Marina have really turned that place around for the better. Great report, thank you!

Flipper must have let the trout know that the Trout King was in the area because this is a normal report from you, lol. As you already know, we all have those day. Great report, thank you for still posting.

Man I love this! I would like to add maybe fishing in the evening of the 4th instead of first thing in the morning. My theory behind this is most people probably want to get their “boating activities” done before they go pop / watch fireworks or whatever that evening. Friday afternoon conditions look way more favorable then the morning conditions for most of the Lake B and Breton Sound area. For example: Falling tides and lighter winds. I would, like you said, have a solid plan and be ready to deal with not so great boaters.

Also, evening time Friday the 4th, Saturday evening, and Sunday look good for Cocodrie as well. I would start at the rigs in Timbalier bay and work my way west towards the Point Mass Reef, Sulphur mine, and Bird Island reef.

No sir, I didn’t get close enough to see if they did or not and honestly it didn’t cross my mind to look. I’ve never targeted TT or made a plan too. I honestly just love the thrill of chasing speckled trout, which is why I usually don’t roll to plan Redfish (also because I really think the Redfish population is in critical condition ATM) or plan TT. I have been considering it though. It looks like a lot of fun.
