Just adding to Captain Devin’s plan mentioned above. I fished that area a lot last summer and had great success at the rigs he has on his plan. Given the South wind conditions for all three days I’d fish Friday and Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, as mentioned by Capt. Devin’s. I think those windows are best for that area if you make it out there. The picture I attached below has spots on the western side of that area that I fished last year. I would for sure start East at the rigs mentioned by Capt. Devin, but if they don’t produce which is unlikely, I would definitely try the “Point Mass Reef” if conditions allow. I would fish it on my way to the Sulphur Mine, other rigs, and Bird Island Reef. If you do make it to Point Mass, fish all the chair wells in the area on the bottom with a 3/8oz jig and matrix in whatever color is appropriate for the water condition or fish with a HDS. Just know you’ll be exposed without any protection except for the lee side of the chair wells and Sulphur Mine if you fish those areas. As far as “Bird Island Reef”, I would fish it with a Four Horse cork and whatever you choose for underneath. Good luck!

Congrats on graduating!! What an awesome trip you guys had! Glad you where able to get out and get on them like you did. Bummer about the tire, as for my “oh shizzle bag” I usually keep a good flood jack, breaker bar, sockets, batteries, zip ties, vice grips, wire cutters, duck & electric tape, and fuses. Awesome report, thank you!

Awesome trip! I was able to get out and fish the falling tide yesterday afternoon and was able to get on a good bite at the reef. The other spots have to be on fire with a falling tide like you mentioned. Great report, thank you.

If I do go, it’ll probably be around noonish after I do the mothers day thing and to catch the falling tide. Not planning on targeting any TT, sounds fun though. The spots labeled RD are what I believe to be removed rigs that I found using the historical time slider on GED. The rest labeled R are rigs. Good luck out there!

Had just about the same results back in April. I think it’ll start getting better later on in month. Great report, thank you!

Hopefully next time I can get out early and execute my entire plan. I appreciate the intel on the removed rig. Thank you!

Thank you sir!

I was really surprised at first given the conditions and how we caught them, but I’m pretty sure the falling tide made all the difference. If you make your way out there soon try a HDS with a sparkle beetle. Thank you!
