Congrats on graduating!! What an awesome trip you guys had! Glad you where able to get out and get on them like you did. Bummer about the tire, as for my “oh shizzle bag” I usually keep a good flood jack, breaker bar, sockets, batteries, zip ties, vice grips, wire cutters, duck & electric tape, and fuses. Awesome report, thank you!

Awesome trip! I was able to get out and fish the falling tide yesterday afternoon and was able to get on a good bite at the reef. The other spots have to be on fire with a falling tide like you mentioned. Great report, thank you.

I have a similar plan for tomorrow as well, maybe. If I do go, it’ll probably be around noonish after I do the mothers day thing and to catch the falling tide. Not planning on targeting any TT, sounds fun though. The spots labeled RD are what I believe to be removed rigs that I found using the historical time slider on GED. The rest labeled R are rigs. Man had I’d know I was in the presents of Lafitte royalty at Independence reef I would have said hey! We may or may not have been there at the same time…..really not sure, but I saw the same boats and was there around the same time you mentions in your report, so maybe lol. I didn’t catch anything nor did I stay long but I feel like that reef is going to get really good soon. Awesome report, thank you!

Yeah, the 15th was kind of brutal as far as conditions, haha. Thank you for the recommendation for Hackberry Bay, that might be the first place I go next week on my GI trip if conditions are right for it. Great report, thank you!

Apologies this is so late. I agree with all the responses above. I just posted a report from 4/15 about the MRGO. South of Terre aux Beouf is going to be dirty, Lake Robin and Lake Coquille could still be good. The Long rocks for sure have nice fish on them but it’ll be a boat show for sure. Hitting those coves mention above would be good. Good luck, hope you crush it!

Yep, it’s Marsh Romance of Skeeter Hawk for me! I also was lucky to get Swamp Fire and agree that it was a good one.
