I fish it just like matrix just go little heavier on weight. i find in current the bigger bait will fall faster but get carried further by currents . So I go heavy and bounce it harder of the bottom with hard twitches.

I use 6in dart from coastal brew a lot . It works I don’t feel like it will out fish a matrix shad . I’ve had times I caught fish with dart and not a matrix and other way around. Makes it fun ! This day I threw dart my wife threw matrix i caught some bigger fish at first but she was out numbering me 🤷.

Yeah I see it’s a long run my boat holds 58 gallons could probably make the trip . Didn’t realize was that far . Might just make the trip to breton island instead .
