We didn’t fish the inside of the Belle Pass just all around it. Bunch of small trout, ladyfish and one Spanish mackerel.
We saw two other boats fishing the barges and stopped but didn’t have any luck but granted we didn’t stay as long as we should have.
Next time we will definitely hit the rocks at Timbailer and the inside of the pass. That was our first time out there so we were just trying to figure it out so we have better knowledge for next time. That’s what I love about fishing and being a Saints fan…there is always next time. 😂

The craziest thing was they weren’t interested at all in eating. We threw some stuff at them but they actively went out of their way to avoid it.

I think I’m going to get out there again on Sunday but wait till about noon. Let the temperature and water get a little warmer with the sun and let the winds lay down a little. Temps are showing high 50’s early in the morning. I’m going to definitely try jigging the rocks and I’ll let you know how it goes.
