Hey brother! I was in your exact shoes last spring. After my first few trips I didn’t think it was gonna be for me because I couldnt catch squat out there. But slowly I started catching and figuring out an area that I’ve been dissecting, LAFB community and courses help speed up that process.
My schedule is pretty flexible so if you wanna join me sometime let me know.

Damn bro you staying in em. Way to go

Awesome report brother! Way to adapt and make things happen. That’s an area I need to improve while on the water. I spend too much darn time trying to create a pattern instead of finding one.

Ive caught trout at #9. Where your red line 13 begins is where I caught that limit of trout while observing corks pop the surface with no takedowns.

What a great day brother! Sounds like we were out there at the same time-ish. Glad to see the shorelines are producing. I love caching a drift and pounding the shorelines for reds on a falling tide.

Done. All your guest have been great so far. Looking forward to the next.

Point taken. Yea spent most of my time chunking and winding. I did throw a matrix shad on a light jig, probably too light now that I consider it.
Thanks again for the feedback, sounds so simple when you say it. Leaves me wondering “why the hell didn’t I think of that?”

Devin,
Thanks for the feedback! Great stuff and I’ll definitely incorporate your points into my plan. I often get stuck in the mindset of “this is how I’ve always fished” so hearing some different options from a pro gives me some confidence to push outa my comfort and try new things. Thanks!
