I’ve noticed over the past couple years fishing the surf out there that it seems the closer you get to the state park end of the island, the dirtier AND warmer the water gets. I think it just gets stagnate trapped behind those rocks. This is just my personal observation. I like going to Elmer’s island for this reason. Reports from Grand Isle so far this year seem to pretty weak. How was the grass situation in the surf. I was originally planning to get down there this weekend but idk now with this storm situation in the gulf…

I definitely wouldn’t put ethanol in anything with a carburetor on it. I’ve seen some pretty nasty carbs from ethanol gas sitting in them. And like others have said too you don’t want that stuff just sitting around in your tank either. I think it’s best to just play it safe and fork out the extra cash for the ethanol free
