They can be, but it’s also a community hole. The inside and outside can be really good.
Otherwise looks like an epic trip. I’ve tried not to get into offshore fishing so I don’t catch that bug and lose focus on inshore, but I always wondered why more offshore guys don’t use sonar. With DI it seems like it’d be really easy to figure out where fish are holding.

1. Knock out IF101 so you have the same knowledge and speak the same language as the rest of us
2. Use this community to get help planning your next fishing trip. Not doing the work for you, but providing us with an obviously thoughtful plan we can provide feedback for.
3. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, redfish spread out when that happens. There’s literally more real estate they can be in and that can make it tougher to find them. You gotta punch further back into ponds. The upside to high water is that it puts more water over the top of aquatic grass, making it easier to fish.
