@Devin is it and option to add a “like button” of some sort on the reports that members can click? It would show more post engagement. Even some lurkers would smash the like button sometimes.

Thanks guys! I’ll keep them coming! Sometimes I know they get repetitive, that’s why i try to include some personal stuff as well…kinda telling a story instead of just a report.

Your route through Rigolets is good to go. The area in Bayou Dupont gets shallow quick and yiu should be careful but I don’t fish that area much to give too much detail on. As far as the east shoreline of the Pen, it’s definitely navigable but I will get a depth for you this week when I go. I’ve been on the west side and that is 3-4 feet.

It really gets to me when there are that many people out there. It seems to me that is when the inexperienced boaters are out and they can really mess things up. Today I was trolling along a structure…like obviously moving and a boat pulled up literally on my cork about 40 yards ahead of me. I’m polite at first but if a guy is a jerk back to me, I will waste my trip to ruin theres. I fish a few times a week and I am not the one be an ahole to. Im not confrontational but I refuse to let a guy dictate my day when i make sure to get out early to avoid this very issue. This guy took it well and apologized. I went around him and life went on.

I launch at Joe’s or Jean Lafitte Harbor. I have doing more out of JLH as of late because they spent alot of money on the launch and the store and I want to support it.

I just think it may encourage more people to post. Sometimes I wonder if others are finding my reports helpful or if I waste my time. That’s why I made this post.
