    Good list and great idea. Several things I need to add to my list from yours.

    A few I’ll add:

    -50 hrs – Check Jack plate fluid and make sure there’s no signs of stress cracks anywhere on the Jack plate.

    -50 hrs – Check for play in steering by shaking the motor

    – all the time – check for wear on pull string that deploys trolling motor.

    – wiring – just keep a volt meter in the boat all the time. I’ve seen wiring issues at 100 hours and 1000 hrs.

    I’m a salt away guy after every outing. That stuff works great.
