I think I’ve been living in the dark and was under the impression that LiFePo were not suited for cranking applications. Something about the BMS not being able to absorb the power provided back to the battery from the alternator? Does that sound right? But hell now I’m seeing several dual purpose batteries out now. That’s a game changer.
Been running lithiums on the troller now for two years- they’ve only died on me once(actually killed themselves at 20% charge), and that was after two full days of being spot locked in The Jump.
