Heres the problem I have had.
Sometimes if i fish a double rig, I’ll hook 2 reds. If those reds go in opposite directions, it almost always wishbones the rig.
I’ve considered doing like a super sabiki for the Trestles.
Long lining for trout would be willllddddd.
But I’ll probably never do it…

So you and I are basically on the same quest. I was not far from there and ran over to Grand Island as well. There was a bait ball about 10-15 ft across. We were running on our way back and didn’t stop but will next time I’m by myself. There’s a dude from Houma that won the tarpon category at the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo with 5 “landed” tarpon. His gf has a YT channel, and they actually caught like 12 total running Destin beaches sight fishing them. Over there, it’s like 30 lb test because of the clarity, whereas over here, it’s more like 200 lb because they can get away with it. He caught some earlier this month, and I’ve got a couple of areas where I know they hang out, so if you want to link up, I stay rigged for tarpon.

When I get that 6 ft ladyfish I’ll be sure to detail the whole thing.

Awww Devin, you remembered 😊…hopefully my tongue in cheek reports didn’t drive the change off the book.
