So the Tag number is LC622077. No, I did not release the fish. I release almost every redfish (unless I’m cooking it that night), but I stock up on fall and winter specks for the coming year.

I assumed the purpose of this program was to track movement and record growth rates. The tag, however, was very clean so I suspect it was a recent tag and release.

After the entry it said they needed to “confirm the report”. Not sure how that is done. I have photos, which includes length on a board and a GPS recording. Not sure what the person who stuck a tag in this fish reported.

Is anyone proposing some sort of action if there are fish kills? Does anyone think this hasn’t happened before, or won’t happen again?
