Glad you had a great time in Bama, I live on the eastern shore and do love our fishery, And of course I love LA area as well. Im taking my RV to Delacroix to leave there for extended time and plan to come over every other week. Hope to see some LAFB crew during my trips. We really need to connect and trade some trips here and there if I have not offered my number here it is 404.662.0188 In October three of us Bama LAFB boys will be at the Delacroix lodge. We are all Salt Strong members as well and we are all doing the 101 class which is amazing BTW Capt Devin. We plan on using WHAT WE DONT KNOW to learn the La Marsh. need all the help we can get.

I have built (rebuilt) 4 so far, its crazy because people will give them away or throw them away. they are extremely easy to fix and no expensive to repair.

I have a trout tournament Saturday on the Mobile Delta, which seems to be a challenge this weekend with rain and extremely cold conditions, my plan is this point to target deep water with 3-to-4-foot flats in close proximity. weapons selected are as follows,
lows 36 and high 49
predicted tide low at 7 am with negative minus 1 foot
normal level tide predicted at noon then incoming
east wind 11-17
which my target spot is on east bank of mobile river some what wind protected. possible tide effects are possible.
Drop shot with paddle tail
jerk baits. first choice
standard Paddle tails, hoodwinks.
Mirro dine MR18
will be prefishing in rain on Friday, game plan may change. I’ve been picking up nice trout 18-20 randomly and solo’s I actually hate the Styrofoam option but I’m not proud and will stoop and swallow my pride IF need be.
Pre fished Biloxi marsh last weekend caught 40 trout but not tournament quality.

I run both Garmin and Lowrance, with updated mapping, The LA1 says it has tracks from past dwellers i assume. I do my research on goggle earth as well as other options. I have my own tracks created in past trips in LA, I have considered the shaded option from Garmin as well. which is less expensive than LA1. just being cautious with new outboard. just over 20 hours thanks Devin as usual your on top of your game.
