    Everything @will-grand said. I’ve been finding the trout further inside. Lake Amadee Tide Lines and birds. Lake John, drift until you find them or fish the tide lines.

    Man…. I wish I had all day to make the Venice trip. I know it’s the best option, but my window isn’t that long. It’s either grind the suck fest in Lafitte or Plan Redfish in Delacroix. Boats getting wet one way or another so it won’t be a “bad” day. I’ll post the aftermath..

    Thanks for the report. I may try Lafitte for the first time Saturday as I’m hoping the water will be falling earlier and the East wind should help. My question is after I try and chase down trout, any area you recommend for Reds? I know nothing about the area. 😂 thanks

    Great report. I’m planning on going Friday and this info helps. Will be a little windy Friday too but I plan on starting out in Amedee and working my way south. Thanks for sharing.

    They were catching shrimp close to the dock so I figured they would have had bait yesterday, but no luck. I saw a lot of dirty water with all the west wind. Thanks for the report!

    Thanks. You can run from Lery and go through Lost Lake to Petit Lake. I’ll share the route when I’m on my computer. Think that’s my plan Monday as I want to fish Batola as well.

    Thanks for the report. Were you fishing east or west side of Delacroix? I’ve been living in Lake Lery but just heard a report about it being full of grass, making it hard to fish. Just trying to confirm if this is true. Think I’ll be going out Monday, will post a report if I do.
