My favorite lure I like to use is a jig. If I can get to the bottom with the jig, that’s what I’m using. 1/2 ounce is the heaviest one in my tackle box. If the current or depth is too much for that then I will try a HDS. I also believe you can use a drop shot when fish are finicky or slow as well.

Yeah I believe the trout are further out. Hopefully you got your engine straight. You are right about the area change but smarter move not taking a chance. Thanks for sharing!
