I went to work in South America in 2000 and sold my boat. I bought a new boat in June of this year. When I read these posts I have to chuckle. I told me neighbor that my fishing tackle looked like it came from a museum. For those who have never seen a green Ambassador it’s a 5000 D. My father gave it to me because he didn’t like it. I have had it at least 55 years. The 2 5500Cs were bought around 1991 There are only 2 reels that were purchased post 2000. These have been used and abused.
