If the issues were just not catching fish I would have posted reports with the lack of results, but it was other unwanted issues with equipment which is what I expected after buying a 30 year old boat. We hopefully got the bugs worked out.

I am definitely not too proud to post an unsuccessful trip as i know we all have them, The trips in December weren’t enough fishing to post about. Guidance in errors made is why I chose this platform over the Facebook entourage especially getting back into fishing from a long time away.

With my given schedule in the coming weeks, that date is unfortunately the only one have available as on 12Feb I will be having rotator cuff surgery and trying to get a trip in beforehand between all of the honey-do’s that need to be done prior.

“Given the cold, I’d definitely check out those dead end canals off of Falgout Canal. If the wind lays down, it wouldn’t hurt to attempt the Lake De Cade SOP.” 👍

It has been slower than I would have liked, but have been putting in some time working on the boat as I had some steering and electrical issues. I am currently trying to put together a plan to go to Lake Decade / Jug Lake next weekend.

I will have to get some. We used to use skin so soft, but i don’t know if you can find it anymore.

Thank you for putting in all your time and energy into getting this community together. Hats off to you. I look forward to utilizing the planning forum to get feedback on trying new locations in the future. This community is definitely a great avenue for exploring and networking with like minded individuals.

Thank you, I would like to explore more than just the area I am comfortable with including Delacroix. When I do I would def appreciate a little guidance there.
