The catfish fillets were clean – no worms.
They’ll eat just fine!

Good report. Too bad you didn’t find em.
As I was reading the part about you running down MRGO headed to the rocks, I immediately thought to myself “oh boy, wait til he gets to where it opens up at athanasio…” and then I read the next sentence. I chuckled to myself. Been there before.
I think the windy route to the back side of the dam from bakers canal is a fun ride. I always enjoy it – just be careful of the blind turns.

Nice job! Did you find the bite was better with live shrimp or the marker54’s?

Marsh romance and skeeter hawk for me. Though, I too am one of those fully clothed fellas even when it’s 90 deg out.

That was me being lazy. I can do a screenshot next time. I took a pic with my phone, and texted my buddy. I just uploaded the pic via my phone on this post. I’ll do better next time 😉
Yea, I’ve seen several muddy/circular tracks with visible oyster boats. I then came across these deep scars, and I’ve caught fish there numerous times. I spend a lot of time in that bay, and I’ve been “researching” on GED recently to plot a few more potential spots to fish while I’m out there.

Why no longer desire to run out there? Because you didn’t limit out, or another reason?
Good report. Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate your input, Devin! I’ll be sure to share a report.

I’m surfing the forums at night via mobile. I am using GED on a computer during the day. I’m generally not surfing the forums during the day.

Same here, but I’m going anyway.

I’ve heard that same thing from others over the past week.

I’ll be there Saturday to find out.

The ride always seems longer going out than it does coming in.
