We tried a lot of different things over the few phone calls with Hummingbird (including checking if Auto is selected).

During the last call, they came back, from having me on hold quite a while, and claimed this card will not work on units with a single card slot (he couldn’t explain why). He said it would have to be a dual card slot unit (which for the helix 7 would need to be a G4N).

Since you run a G2N, I’d assume my issue may be isolated to the Helix 7. Just found it weird for how long the units and card have been around, and they still claim the card is compatible with these units although knowing it’s not (I checked with the compatibility tool, and called to verify before updating the unit and purchasing the card). During the first call, they claimed the card is likely faulty (purchased on eBay) so I purchased another from Bass Pro. Same issue with new card… maps won’t load (card is recognized).

I may just see if I can find a helix 9 and run this 7 up front.
