Thank you for your response. We are staying at Island Marina so we just figured we would launch out of there everyday, but I am sure if there is a better location close then we could travel to launch every morning. I will be fishing out of an Xpress H20 Bay with a 115 SHO. I just joined the elite club today so I am working my way through the 101 class right now. Is Lake Catherine deep enough to run across? I was thinking with the falling tide, we might could fish some of the bayous that spill out of the lake. We can use any type of rig or bait. I am relatively new to inshore fishing so most of my experience has come in the marsh with popping corks and live shrimp, but I have recently began throwing some plastic as well.
