Yeah, I can see where the marinas would want to try to silence anyone making that point and being in the industry you gotta watch what you say and who will be hurt by it.
But yeah, I’ve been at work all night and day so I’ve been utilizing the “past digital issues” feature on Louisiana sportsmen’s magazine. Mostly it’s a lot of the same info, but with some gems found in there like brand new boat ads listing new boats under $30k! Haha.

Me and my 2 year old son love marsh man mason on YouTube. I’ll click on it, and as soon as my son hears todd talking he goes “fish? Reel reel fish?” lol.

Speckled truth is good. I like Chris’s story telling style and his theories on things. I really wish he was more focused on Louisiana, but as a trout angler, I still enjoy it.

Thanks for the report Devin. I’ve made a few trips in our home “basin” recently. I’ve gotten to the point with those birds over there i don’t stop for them. Its ;like 1/100 keeper/throw back ratio.

Nice man, always good to get the family out on the water and a challenge to put fish on the boat with all that commotion onboard. We took our 2 year old out last Wednesday, he was actually able to catch fish on his own with the help of mom casting it out and lifting it over the gunnel. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one out there making memories

The one for matrix shad is still good. I’d like to think I’m not cheap, but $30 is $30 lol

Heard that. If they don’t work, not the end of the world. But when I order $100+ worth of shads and jigs, Its worth the little effort for me to try to use it if it works.

Is the area still swarming with 12” trout lol… every trip out there this summer fall has been something of a let down. Hasn’t been my year out there. 3 years ago, yes it was crazy. But lately everytime I make that run I regret it afterwards lol
(Just my own personal experience , I realize some folks have been doing okay out there)

If nothing else, seeing recaptures confirms without a doubt that catch and release can work. Despite the people who say that a 12″ trout wont survive being hooked and released….
