    Forecasted East wind.. so I’m also considering that along with scattered TS possible …. Likely stay within running distance to shelter if needed

    Yes I’ve been scanning for reports.. will be staying at the state park campground… so I’ll be launching on the east end..

    not very eventful…. winds blew… and blew…. and blew… none of the areas I had mapped and was able to fish held any fish… Water on the east end of island where I tried wasn’t very good… for grand Isle standards in my opinion..

    yes sir.. currenlty on GED looking for potential spots I feel would be worth trying. By blind I meant not having “known” fishing spots to go to..

    Typically launch at Cyp. point… however Im not opposed to trailering elsewhere… Just the fear of the unknown… New place, unfamiliar waters… exactly all the hazards you have been teaching in 101.. Summer should have the fish in the saltier water out in the gulf…. which I am trying to learn… Cocodrie would be my choice if I were to trailer somewhere, as I have fished the area in the past..
