It depends on the charger. But for the most part, yes. Most of the modern chargers are trickle chargers and will cut off once the battery is at full capacity. They’ll only turn back on when they need to in order to keep it full. But the benefit of LiFePO4 batteries is that they hold their charge. Once they’re full, you can let them sit and they’ll only lose maybe 1-2%. Sometimes 0%.

Oh and one more thing that was a concern of mine: would running a lithium cranking battery void my motor warranty? I still have 2 years left on that bad boy so I didn’t want to ruin that in case I ever need it. Mercury does “approve” use of a lithium cranking battery. Whatever that means lol.
