Which charger did you go with? I’m a huge fan of lithium as well! I haven’t went to the cranking lithium yet but I will when I need one.

I have the LA1 card from standard mapping in my gps. It shows oyster leases and it makes it pretty easy to see which poles are marking leases and which ones may be a hazard in most cases. I’ll take some pics next time I’m out.

Absolutely! I just forgot him in the sink when I laid the trout out. Actually, I almost forgot it period. I washed my hands and realized it was in the sink still. I almost left the best eating filets I had!

I flip them in. Wait till the fishes momentum is coming at the boat and hit a quick flip. I do realize you’re in a kayak so it is prob more difficult.

Find a Facebook group for Garmin fans and post there if you have one. I’m in a Lowrance group and when I have a question, it gets answered really quick.

For my trip that you mentioned, the sky was clear early then turned overcast around 9am. I do think that clear skys and full moons make for full trout by or close to daybreak. It’s something the old man I fish socolait with always said too.

Even after catching them where I did, I still believe the majority of them have moved out to the areas you mentioned. If weather is right Monday, I’ll be out there as well!

I took a pic of the shrimp. I think they are brown. Here’s a pic. Tide was falling out over the rock obstruction for sure.
