Did you shoot out of Mud lake and go straight into Barataria Bay or did you stay in the channel till you were past Manilla Village?

Im going to have to give those camps a look. As much as I fish down there, my focus is always the west side. I’ve never fished the camps by 4 bayou.

Thanks again for the invite! I would like to add a little on the HDS vs the jig or double rig. The difference is exponential if the fisherman is not very experienced. I’ve seen some guys that can’t tell if they are on the bottom using a jig. That HDS…you know! Even with an experienced guy, sometimes that water is really moving and its hard to get/stay down. I’m really enjoying fishing/learning the pattern that is Lake Borgne. You and @Boyce have got me wanting to get back out there asap. Maybe as soon as tomorrow 👀

I saw a couple good reports coming from fishing off the banks on the beach in the last few days. I am going to get out there Wed or Fri this week if I don’t go to Lake Borgne.

I was out in Lake Borgne today. The wind was screaming but those damn horse flies still found us 🤣 …With that being said, I would be down but I have to catch up on some stuff tomorrow before going back out Wednesday and Friday.

That’s when I’ve fished it but I just figured with trout being in Borgne, Biloxi Marsh and at the Dam…maybe I could poke my head in there and find them. Thanks for the info!
