Your route through Rigolets is good to go. The area in Bayou Dupont gets shallow quick and yiu should be careful but I don’t fish that area much to give too much detail on. As far as the east shoreline of the Pen, it’s definitely navigable but I will get a depth for you this week when I go. I’ve been on the west side and that is 3-4 feet.

I appreciate the feedback guys! I’ll check them out. @Devin I actually loved that damn jacket but I got lucky and got it 60% off last black Friday and super unlucky to lose it 😂😂😂. I believe it was 70 bucks. Now, it’s $169. Before I grab one, I wanted to see what everyone else is using.

This amazing trout run that I’ve been on has me feeling pretty invincible! At this point, the only thing that keeps me from going on available days is rain. I’m sure the neap tide will put me in my place, but I’m ready for the challenge!

I have heard reports of them in the Pen and Rigolets. I’m going Tuesday as well and I plan on fishing Bay Cray to Airplane Bay. It’s not hard to fish wind in there.

I haven’t dropped my power pole or cajun anchor in months. I’m sure it could matter more in shallow waters but with that being said I’ve had no problems catching them using my spot lock.
