The reason I personally would not be up in arms over what the tide is doing is because I know that once I get out there I’ll see it and have an idea as where to fish.
Think of the marsh as being a set of stairs, with deeper water (like a bayou) being the bottom of the stairs and a shallow duck pond being the top.
If the water is up, the redfish can go up into places they normally cannot go. If it’s low, they become concentrated in the deeper stuff.
So pick out spots for the top and bottom of the stairs. I would definitely focus on the top if the wind were screaming out of the east/south.
