Hydrograph maps stopped being produced years ago. They’re gone.
As for your neighbor, if he’s fished his whole life then surely he would know that the Trestles in August is a pointless grind in the worst summer heat of the year.
You could get lucky and catch a few trout that got lost, but there’s no way you’re gonna beat the heat and limit out, not there, not in August.
If showing him some salinity numbers is really that important, then why not show him the USGS station at Rigolets?

If it’s that fresh there, then how could it possibly be saltier further to the west?
I hope he decides to listen to you and try somewhere the fishing will be better.
