Nothing shabby about that trip. Seems like you learned something which is most important. Getting up early is key right now. It’s not as important in the deeper water but very relevant now. I fished out there on the 3rd. Pretty much same playbook as yours. The fish are deep right now and will be for the next month with this high river water and heat. It is sure nasty out there.

We had 75 by 9am probably in the same area as yall fished.
