It’s not a bad plan, but would be better executed ~50 days ago.
I’d skip the trout plan to just concentrate on redfish instead.
If I were planning for trout, I’d go way east. Like the east edge of EBM and start there. Me personally, I would not get excited over a report for four trout. Tell me he caught 40 then I might roll out of bed for that.
So do that or just skip trout altogether and put that time/effort toward the redfish.
I think Martello Castle will waste your time. If I wanted redfish in that area I’d hit up ponds and even look to get into the Biloxi Marsh and fish ponds there.
Or re-plan altogether for Plan Redfish in west Lake P: Kenner rigs, artificial reefs and powerlines. If you have sonar, that effort will be a lot easier.
Or re-plan altogether for Delacroix and Pointe a la Hache. Go launch from Beshel’s and begin learning the area. Maybe save that for next time if you don’t have any safe routes figured out.
