    I love this idea.

    Yes, I’ve also thought of the same thing and tackled this years ago.

    The thing is, the Peewee Pearl just isn’t the same as the Mighty Mississippi. It doesn’t build land and doesn’t have as much habitat (but you said that).

    But generally speaking, you can fish grass on the shorelines of the East and West Pearls for redfish, that tends to work out pretty well.

    The ponds can be really good, too. Just don’t get married to them, as soon as duck season comes around they will all more likely than not be leased out and have duck hunters in them.

    I’ve found some good water and had good days sight fishing back there, but never had 100+ days like I’ve seen further down by the river.

    So it’s a good close-to-home option if it is indeed closer to home.

    That and exploring is always fun. You never know what you’ll find out there, and bass are always a bonus when blind casting.
