Surely you cannot mean last year and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that and the year before that.
It’s very typical for Delacroix to produce this well during spring. I do think it was late getting started because the river was low, but now I am guessing that those PLH fish got pushed north when the river hit 8.5ft.
I’m not saying other areas don’t produce at all, but I am saying that since at least 2009, I’ve seen Shell Beach guides run south and have never, not once, seen a Delacroix guide go north to Shell Beach/Biloxi Marsh/etc.
Sometimes the fish just pile into an area and that’s all there is to it. Finding them elsewhere can be a struggle. I personally hate it when that happens because the only thing you can do is join the circus.
