FWIW, when the water is low is the best time to target redfish. They pile up and are much easier to get to. Grand Lake can be good after a hard N or NW wind.

Also, if I were you with a boat like that, I’d get down to Venice while the river is still low. And I’d hit the marsh in Pointe a la Hache/southern Delacroix once it does come up.
