Sounds about right: few sightable redfish and the ones you see are easily spooked. That’s just the way it’s been. So bad that fly guides have been trading their fly tackle in for spinning tackle.
I have a guide friend that has been catching reds in Delacroix, but he is corking them. I hate to say it, but that is just what’s up these days. The redfish have taken such a hammering in recent years.
