Tough days happen to everyone. Doesn’t matter who a person is, those days eventually will happen. I would not give up on the Rock Dam just yet. It’s gonna produce. But I will suggest launching into Yellow Cotton Bay and fishing/drifting that. Yeah, it’s a haul, but there’s probably more redfish and bass down there than there are in Hopedale.
How did you fish the south side of the Rock Dam? Did you drag your kayak over?
