In the link I shared it says the law was passed June 23, 2025 and went into affect the same day. The article was written by the AMERICAN SALTWATER GUIDES ASSOCIATION; these guys are 100% onboard with the new rule. I think it’s an excellent step forward in red fish conservation and I hope our letters to some of the key LDWF member board helped thanks to Devin for posting the addresses so we could have our voice heard. Maybe LAFB helped with this change, it sure couldn’t have hurt it any. I don’t use this phrase much but shout out to Devin and LAFB for posting the email addresses!
